Jan-Paul Campeau

Jan has been playing music since he was four years old starting with taking apart his older brother's trumpet and seeing what kind of sounds it would make. He began formal piano lessons at age six and things began to take off from there. Entering his teens Jan took up the guitar immersing himself in many different kinds of music, from hard rock to bluegrass. He started taking bluegrass and country lessons from Lou Moore who has played with many world renowned bluegrass players. Gigging in country bars and bluegrass festivals over the next few years gave him the experience he needed to open a recording studio and become an Recording Engineer. Over the years Jan has picked up many instruments, the Hammond organ, Rhodes piano, bass, percussion and any other noise-makers he can get his hands on.
